Tom Miller's House
Bodie, California

Tom Miller worked for the Mono Lake Railway & Lumber Co. south of Mono Lake at Mono Mills. The company supplied much of the lumber used to construct Bodie. This house, on Green St. between Fuller and Park, is the only residence that the public is permitted to enter.

This is one of four photos chosen from the Bodie Gallery to appear on the dust jacket and the back cover of Michael Piatt's book:

BODIE: "The Mines Are Looking Well..."
